The 'Enso' Earrings.
Speckled clay full circle studs, finished with a beautiful white glaze and looped with an indigo tassel.
In Zen Buddhism, an ensō is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.
The ensō symbolises absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void). It is characterised by a minimalism born of Japanese aesthetics.
These earrings feature a full circle stud, representing the process of allowing the self's possibilities to blossom.
Materials: Handmade speckled clay, metal, natural indigo dye, silky-soft organic cotton tassel, sterling silver earring posts.
