samples | these ceramics have no flaws, and are simply pieces of my own exploration of this medium that have not yet been made in larger quantities to offer to my lovely customers.
seconds | this is a first for KAMI. As much as I embrace and practice the wabi-sabi philosophy; any ceramics with a slight or noticeable ‘flaw’ are re-purposed (broken and reclaimed for another piece if in the greenware stage, or if vitrified, they are smashed for mosaic or backfill the retaining wall in our 135yo villa).
After repeated requests, some of these with very slight ‘flaws ‘are now available for purchase and enjoyment. I hope you can find beauty in their imperfection.
